These coasters.
C'mon. You can't get much more Southern or low country than these. They're form Carolina Clay Gallery in Freshfields Village on Kiawah and are by artist Marina Cantlon. I've had my eye on them since this summer and I finally have two of my own {thanks, mom!}

Greatest. Thing. Ever.
I don't know why I was so skeptical about these wonderful slow cooker liners. They're fantastic & make already easy meals even easier.

You've seen these little pancake dippers on Pinterest before, I'm sure. I finally got around to testing the theory out {clearly I can't follow instructions...}

Pancake + Bacon = amazingness.
But let's be real. Bacon makes everything better so you really couldn't go wrong by adding it to your pancake even if it doesn't look perfect.

Sometimes I'm not sure my brother and I are actually related. The Seattle Seahawks' Super Bowl celebration parade wound it's way through downtown Seattle on Wednesday going from the Space Needle all the way down to Century Link Field. Do you know who lives somewhere in that vicinity one block from the parade route and wasn't going to go??
Luckily, my brother is pretty great, and he went and snagged a few pictures for me & a video of the crowd. So wish I could have been there! & yes, that last picture is of a Skittle thrown out into the crowd by Beast Mode.

Speaking of videos... big shout out to every single person that entertained me this week while I was laying on the couch feeling miserable & coughing my head off. Multiple snow videos from Missouri, videos/pictures from Seattle, Netflix recommendations, Words with Friends games, new blogs to read, etc. I'm more than a little pitiful when I'm sick and I get bored really, really fast so I was happy for the entertainment :) Thanks, y'all!
Have a great Friday & a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteThose slow cooker liners are always on my list to get and then I forget. It doesn't leave any plastic taste to anything right? I mean the cleanup situation with them is fabulous!

ReplyDeleteI bought those liners and haven't tried them yet. Are they ok to leave in the crock pot for 9-10 hours? Because that's how long I usually have to cook stuff for while at work!
