A Southern Twenty-Five on Friday: Vacation Style

It's Friday. I woke up at the beach. It's warm. It's sunny. I'm getting ready to go biking. I get to see my brother in two hours! I get to hang out on the beach after lunch. I get a whole weekend with my family & with some other fantastic people. 

So here's a quick Five on Friday before I get back to enjoying my time at Kiawah!

It's wedding weekend number three!

I've been waiting for this weekend for quite sometime and I'm glad that it's finally here and that the weather is gorgeous. It's perfect weather for bike riding, laying out on the beach, and celebrating the marriage of an old family friend.

This dress

When I was looking for the perfect dress to wear to a beach wedding, my mom and I stumbled across this one at Belk. Add in some sandals and cute jewelry, and then I'm all set for the wedding tomorrow.

The weekend doesn't end for me on Sunday because on Monday, I'll be spending the day in my mom's classroom for the last time ever. Some of my earliest memories are hanging out in her classroom on at Congaree Elementary helping clean up for the summer and set up for the school year. In high school & college, I would come by during the school year for a couple hours here and there as I could. Monday will be the final visit to my mom's classroom as she will be retiring at the end of the year... :(

I was hurrying down the road Tuesday afternoon, trying to get to the Greenway for a little bit of bike riding when I about wrecked my car. Something had caught the corner of my eye as I was zooming by the old vacant Food Lion...
