Hello, Friday! I'll forgive you for not getting here quickly enough this week.
As always, hanging out with April, Darci, Natasha, and Christina.

Beach. Biking. Birthday {not mine!}. Brews.
Perfect weekend line up if you ask me!

USA! USA! USA!
I wish that the US was more into soccer all the time rather than just one month every four years. Watching the USA/Ghana game on Monday night at the bar was so much fun and I can't wait to watch the game against Portugal Sunday night.
It makes me kind of want to live in a city that has a professional soccer team... the last time we visited Seattle, not only did we go to a Sounders game, but we watched one in a bar one afternoon too. I wouldn't say the whole city cares about the games but they certainly care a lot more about soccer than the city of Charlotte does.

94 degrees & humid?

Visited Total Wine last weekend on my way out of Columbia and went exploring for a new wine. Came away with this bottle:
Probably only because it's called Oops. Or the fact that it says "cheeky little white" on it.

I have to wear a uniform now at work. I got away with not wearing one for a lot longer than I probably should have & they cracked down on me. So now I have this little short sleeve black v-neck shirt to wear every single day with my company's logo screen printed on it. Well, that or a black, red, or white polo but you get the point, the options are limited and repetitive. Let's just say that I was less than thrilled with the switch when it happened.
Um, do you know how easy it is to get ready in the mornings now? Do you know how great it is that every single article of clothing I buy now is for me and not for work? I guess I've been converted. This uniform thing isn't so bad after all {but don't tell anyone I said that! ;)}

Girl, love that wine! I spent quite a significant amount of time in Trader Joe's picking out wine for the reception and it's hands down my favorite part of the wedding planning. I totally agree with you about the uniform thing too! Have a good weekend, lady! xo
