It was my mom's birthday last Thursday {yay! happy birthday!} so we hit the road on Friday to spend the weekend in Kiawah. It looked a little something like this...
A gorgeous, sunny day.
An early morning four mile run with a little herd of deer on the golf course.
Manicures for the birthday girls.
Obligatory nail photoshoot after the manicure.
Leftover hamburger with pimento cheese, a tomato, and an amaretto sour while watching Clemson basketball WIN a game!
A freezing cold walk on the beach.
One of these.
A photoshoot of all of the chefs in the kitchen preparing dinner {& the tulips}
Dinner.
A SEAHAWKS victory! Never realized how much trouble I could cause by cheering on the Seahawks when they're playing the Panthers but holy cow. Whatever. Go Hawks!

A morning spent watching all of the crazy little creatures in the lagoon behind the house {& reading up on them}
What a fun weekend! Those beach pictures are gorgeous...minus the whole freezing part! I've never been to Kiawah but I've heard it's amazing! You just reminded my how much I need to have an amaretto sour soon! :) Happy Monday!
