A Southern Twenty-Five on Friday!

It's Friiiiiiiiiday again and once again, I'm headed off to the beach. Surprised? I'm mixing it up a little bit this week though by going down to Edisto {one island further south than Kiawah} to spend some time with Patrick's family.

She's back!

After almost a year of living the dream life over in London {and all across Europe}, Patrick's sister Amy is back home for three weeks to visit. I can't wait to get on the road this afternoon & get to Edisto to see her!

I've never picked blueberries before. Or strawberries. Or whatever other fruit people typically go to pick. The closest I have ever come to it is going to a pumpkin patch and picking out a pumpkin.

Check that off my list! Picked a whole strainer full out of Patrick's backyard this week for my parents.

... as is Low Country Boil, which I've been craving for a solid week now thanks to my blog post last week.

I can't be the only one getting excited about college football season over here, right? My friends & I have booked a hotel for our trip to Louisville in September, I've started brainstorming tailgate recipe ideas {I have NINE to plan for!}, and I'm scouring the stores for all things orange and purple.
