Hello, July!

Hands down, July is the best month of the entire year.

It's summer, it's toasty hot outside, there's plenty of time to meander down to the beach or take a cruise out on the lake, you get to celebrate the 4th of July with good food and fireworks, and did I mention it's my birthday month?

Ok, ok, that might be the real reason that I love the month of July. But yes, it's birthday month over here for me and I am pumped. I can imagine that there might come a year when I am no longer a fan of my birthday, but y'all, that's not this year.

Birthday month is starting off on the right foot, too!

Tonight, I'm off to dinner at Melting Pot with Patrick for a "yay, you got a new job! & you moved to Columbia!" dinner.

Tomorrow, I get to head down to Kiawah for a five day mini vacation where I get to spend time with two of my favorite people from Charlotte, celebrate the 4th, hopefully do a little kayaking, and a lot of beaching.

Then it's a weekend at Edisto with Patrick's family, then my actual birthday, then a weekend to celebrate my birthday... seriously though, this is my favorite month of the entire year.
