What. A. Game.
The weather all week looked atrocious {surprise, surprise} and everyone had expected the email that came on Friday announcing that all grass lots were going to be closed for the game. We quickly changed our game plan and ended up having a ball anyway.
Partially because this guy finally came to his first Clemson home game of the 2015 season...
... and in part because I finally got to see this girl {& bridesmaid!} again.
It was a perfect tailgating day despite the change in parking lots and despite the muggy, drizzly, gross weather.
On Saturday afternoon, I got to see something happen in Death Valley for the very first time in Clemson's long and storied football history. Something that has never happened. Not once. Not even in '81 when Clemson won the national championship.
I got to see Clemson run down The Hill as the #1 team in the entire country. THE #1 team. I saw them take the field and play the biggest game of the year {because the game you're playing is always the biggest game of the year per Dabo}.
As always, when we play Florida State, it was a long, tough game. One that required selfies during TV timeouts.
The game wore on, the sun set behind the clouds, and we all whipped out our phones to light up the stadium again.
But in the end?
Clemson vs Florida State University - November 7, 2015
