Some of y'all think that last week was all about Thanksgiving or shopping or something crazy like that. Nope. Not for me. It was all about The Game.
The Clemson vs South Carolina game.
The game was at noon on Saturday so we started out our day bright and early. By tailgate #9 of the season, we finally had things down to an art: it took less than 15 minutes for us to get everything unpacked, set up, and have drinks in hand.

Things Clemson fans will never get tired of... being able to legitimately put up the "we're #1" sign & mean it.
We had a big ol' breakfast tailgate complete with a crockpot hashbrown casserole {my contribution!}, bacon, sausage, and scrambled eggs. There were mimosas for those of us who chose to drink mimosas {some of us just stuck with plain champagne... guilty}
I was feeling left out of the Black Friday shopping fun on Friday and ended up buying this plate for $5. Necessary? Absolutely.
Clemson/Carolina Game #7!
Patrick's younger brother knows that the correct color to wear is orange... not garnet/black.
This one is going in a frame at Chris & Patrick's house.
And then it was game time.
Do you see that complete sea of orange in the stadium? Loved it.
You know, just the #1 team in the country. No big deal.
& #4, the Heisman candidate.
At halftime, the Clemson and Carolina bands took the field together to play a tribute in honor of Charleston. It was nice to see the rivalry lines erased for a few minutes.
But at the end of the day, one team had to walk always with the win.
Clemson at South Carolina - November 28, 2015
37 - 32, Clemson
So let's recap:
Clemson is 12-0 and undefeated in the regular season. They beat their biggest rival for the 2nd year in a row and are heading to the ACC Championship this weekend in Charlotte as the #1 team in the country.
The Panthers are still 11-0 & officially the only undefeated team left in the NFL.
AND the Seahawks won.
I'm more than ok with how the football world looks right now!
That was a fun game to watch! We had a really exciting one too, but it didn't quite go our way. Glad you carried the team with champagne drinking! Champs for champs- am I right?
