Showering the Mama-to-Be & Baby Boy

This time last year, Laura & I were taking a lot of pictures that looked a little something like this:

This year? This year, we're not taking matching pictures anymore because one of us is rocking a cute little baby bump & is expecting her first baby next month {!!!}

A few of us got together at my parents' house and threw a baby shower for Laura and Baby Boy M last weekend. There were Blue Flour Bakery cookies {of course}, plenty of good friends, and some really cute onesies for baby boy.

Two of my favorite things from the shower were the clouds & rain decoration in the kitchen windows and the baby onesie decoration up over the fireplace in the living room. Caroline always does the best job finding cute decorations for showers! & my mom did well converting our Christmas stocking holders & a curtain rod from my last apartment in Charlotte into a cute holder for two baby onesies, two little hats, and two sets of baby mittens.

Both were expertly pulled off!

Of course, with our group, you have to have some champagne on hand. We were even able to find a bottle of alcohol free champagne for the mama-to-be.

We played two baby shower games - one super silly one that involved sticking a sheet of paper on your forehead and attempting to draw a baby and the other was a race to see who could come up with 26 baby boy names {one for each letter of the alphabet} first.
