Happy Friday, y'all!
I'm coming at you live from Nags Head in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We rolled in really late last night {this morning?} but I'm excited to get out and do some exploring today. If you've been to Nags Head before, send me your suggestions for what we should do in the next 72 hours!
I've stayed true to form for this trip, and have already researched the nearest local brewery for us to visit this afternoon before we head out for the wedding festivities that brought us out here.
Here's a quick Five on Friday for you!

Clemson's baseball season ended this past Monday night. Want to know what that means? The next season up is FOOTBALL SEASON!!
Football Season = Tailgate Season.
No, I'm not crazy excited or anything about that fact but if you were wondering, and I know you were, there are only 85 days until football season starts.

Favorite purchase lately?
This SD card reader for my new MacBook. It counteracts my least favorite thing ever - the USB-C port. Ugh. A trip to the Apple store in Charlotte last weekend for a couple accessories solved my USB-C port issue and I'm now fully operational on my laptop, yay!

Patrick and I started a new weekly tradition this summer and we've been rockin' the midweek date night for the last few weeks. All areas of downtown are fair game, too. We've been to War Mouth in Cottontown, Lula Drake on Main Street, Casual Pint / World of Beer / Hickory Tavern in The Vista, and Henry's on State Street.
Columbia friends - where should we go next? I'm thinking a happy hour at River Rat is in order soon, or a drive out to Devine Street for Craft & Draft.

On repeat this week: Believer by Imagine Dragons.
I think this is the only song that I've been listening to while at work this week and I haven't gotten tired of it yet!

Happy wedding weekend, Kate!
... don't mind me if I'm wearing this exact same dress tomorrow night at your wedding! 🙈

Enjoy this beautiful weekend!
Football season is my favorite! Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteSo excited about football season - it makes me rush the summer sometimes :). Duck Donuts is a MUST if you are in the Outer Banks! Duck is my favorite of the OBX towns and it isn't too far from Nags Head, and they have a ton of cute shops and restaurants around there. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteHave fun in the OBX! We just went for the first time last September. We mostly hung out at the beach, but we really liked Duck Donuts when we ventured into the towns! We also randomly booked an indoor tennis court and had a blast playing with our family.
ReplyDeleteI am STOKED for football season! Love weeknight date nights :)
ReplyDeletethank for sharing.
